Check out the Meet the Teams page on our website for more photos of our Teams. Scroll down to your team and watch the slideshow.
And don’t forget to send us your photos after each meet! We have a process for selecting the best photos so we very much appreciate having lots to choose from. There are a couple of teams that we don’t have enough – especially action photos. Please email any photos to president@bcaquasonics.com.
AGM & Year End Watershow: May 28
Please join us for our Annual General Meeting (9:30am) on May 28 at Surrey Sport and Leisure (rink side, upstairs, multi-purpose room). This meeting is where we will hold the elections for the 2016-2017 Executive. We will also have a presentation by Coach Tanya Magee for rec parents who want to know more about moving to competitive synchro. 2 FCP points are given to each family attending the meeting (while aunts and cousins are welcome, it is still 2 points per family).
Following the AGM, we will host our Year End Watershow (11:30am) at SSLC where we will see this year’s routines for the last time and give a great send off to our 13-15 athletes who are heading to the Canadian Espoir Championships a few days later. The entry fee will once again be $5 per adult, including parents. Funds raised from all Watershows this year go towards pool costs.
Nominations for 2016-2017 BC Aquasonics Executive
Online nominations are now open to nominate directors for the 2016-2017 BC Aquasonics Executive. Any member in good standing can be nominated for a position. Members are parents of athletes under age 19 or athletes age 19 and older. Accounts must be up to date to be considered in good standing.
Nominations must be received in advance by May 18th – no nominations from the floor. Each person nominated must agree to the nomination and be nominated by two other members. Names of the nominees will be emailed to all members in advance of the AGM.
Click here to go to the online nominations form.
All Executive positions are elected annually. Nominations can be made specifically for the President and Vice President-Finance positions or for a Director position. Once elected, the Executive will determine out of those elected who will act as Secretary, Vice President, or hold one of the Director portfolios which include marketing, sponsorship & business development, human resources, legal & risk management, and membership services. Please consider running!
